Prejudice against Mestizos brands book fair in Germany

The Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse) was spotted today (8) by aggressive statements and prejudices against Brazilian Mestizos and miscegenation . The event is held by Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels (Association of the German Book Trade) .
Associating miscegenation as genocide, the writer Luiz Ruffato said
“If our population is mestiza, it is due to the crossing of European men with indigenous or African women – ie, the assimilation was through the rape of native and negro women by white settlers .”
According to the Brazilian newspaper Folha de São Paulo, the statements of the writer received praised reviews by the Foreign Minister of Germany, Guido Westerwelle (pictured above, flanked by the Vice President of Brazil, Michel Temer, and the Minister of Education, Marta Suplicy) .
Several officials of the Brazilian government, which has an official policy of ethnic eliminating of the Mestizo, attended the event.
