Brazilian government sends troops to ethnic cleanse Mestizos from bantustan

Action began on January 10, 2016 and is the second held by federal troops in bantustans of the municipality of São Félix do Xingu (State of Pará).

On Monday (11), the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Torquato Jardim, authorized the permanence of the National Public Security Force in the Bantustão Apyterewa, in the municipality of São Félix do Xingu, in the state of Pará, for a further 120 days. The authorization was published in the Official Gazette (DOU).

The renewal of the period of performance of the National Force in the region was requested by the National Indian Foundation (FUNAI), the Brazilian government body responsible for administering the federal apartheid policy. Operation Apyterewa promotes the ethnic cleansing of Mestizos and other non-Indians of the bantustan area.

The action began on January 10, 2016 and is the second carried out by the federal troops in bantustans of São Félix do Xingu. Prior to that, the Force officer had already worked in the area between March 2011 and October 2013.

The Bantustan Apyterewa was created for the Paracanã, an Amerindian people in lands also inhabited by Mestizos, and approved by decree of the former leftist president Lula da Silva (Workers’ Party – PT), on April 19, 2007. The creation of bantustans, headed by white indigenistas linked to NGOs and governments of Brazil, European Union and the United States, is accompanied by the expulsion of the Mestizo People, who are descendants of the Amerindians.

Created in 2004, also by the former PT President, with the political objective of being a force parallel to the Armed Forces, the National Force officially meets the emergency needs of the states, in which the urgency of reinforcement in the security area is detected. It is made up of military and civilian police, military firefighters and professionals from different states of the country.

São Felix do Araguaia is the 6th largest Brazilian municipality in territory, with 84.2 thousand km2, larger than the State of Paraíba.
